Hamish Arora – Expert Design of Complete Turnkey Solutions

April 6, 2022

Our local Hydroflux Industrial NZ Technical Sales Engineer Hamish Arora loves to spend his weekends and holidays hiking outdoors.  Guess where he is in this photo:

Yep, it’s Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown. Look at that blue sky!

Hamish has a passion for the local environment, and like many New Zealanders understands that many industries were built on a past with a relatively stable climate with familiar climatic patterns.  Now, with unprecedented droughts in Northland and heavy rainfall and flooding on the West Coast of the South Islands, the Canterbury region and West Auckland, climate resilient industries are more important than ever.

Working for Hydroflux Industrial NZ across all industries, and more recently specialising in dairy and meat processing wastewater treatment, Hamish provides expert design solutions and works closely with other wastewater consultants. As a chemical and materials engineer, Hamish can support you in all your wastewater needs from key equipment supply to total turnkey sustainable solutions.

“Customers have the flexibility to buy key process equipment such as a DAF or clarifier, sludge management or screening equipment, and implement their improvement themselves but will often elect for a complete and turnkey solution for the added assurance of a fixed price and high-performance solution”.

Having previously worked as an Environmental Consultant, and has been a wastewater treatment client himself, which has provided insight into the client’s perspective. Hamish sees sustainable wastewater solutions from all angles.

“Many of our customers are asking about our sustainability initiatives and about technologies for re-using treated wastewater and even full recycling for use as process water.

The Hydroflux Group recently achieved Climate Active Certification as a Carbon Neutral Organisation. For our clients, this means you are engaging with a carbon-neutral organisation and you are supporting positive and verified action on climate change.

The Hydroflux Group consist of eleven specialist companies which aim to deliver the highest level of engineering and scientific knowhow to the emerging issues of sustainability, climate adaptation and environmental protection with a specific focus on water and wastewater.

The Group employs over 100 staff and operates throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands with office locations in Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Suva and Portsmouth.
